The Boom Boom Room

A one of a kind experience. Perfect for date night, adult birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, large parties, and more. Named one of the best things to do and a must see St. Louis tourist attraction.

The Boom Boom Room is the "thing to do" Burlesque restaurant and nightclub.   If you are looking for a place to eat, see a show, dance, and have a great time, we know you will find it here at the one of a kind, St. Louis tourist destination.  Great for bachelorette parties, date night, birthdays and more!

My girlfriends and I came here for my bachelorette party! We did the dinner and show on a Saturday night. The atmosphere was absolutely wonderful! The staff was all so sweet and very welcoming! The food and drinks, although a bit pricey, were sooooooo delish!!! And the entertainment was perfect for the occasion! I can't wait to come back! Thank you for making my bachelorette party memorable!

Last Saturday was such a wonderful experience. From the uniquely skilled and individually beautiful women to the delightfully filling 4-course tasting menu, I really can't tell you that there is any comparison. The ingredients that were paired in each dish were absolutely fantastic and hands down the best I've had in a very long time. Thank you to all of the amazing staff and spectacular chef for an absolutely perfect anniversary.

I celebrated my birthday with two of my girlfriends this past Saturday night – we had a blast! The food was fantastic – small portions, but beautifully presented and filling. The wait staff was wonderful and did a great job keeping our glasses full. The show was very entertaining; the emcee was hysterical, and the girls (and guy) did an awesome job keeping everyone engaged in the show. It was risqué but completely classy. My only critique was the music volume during dinner... it needed to be turned down just a little bit to let us talk without yelling across the table.

Thanks for a great night out!

I've been here twice and had a great experience both times. I was a little hesitant to come here my first time thinking this type of show wasn't my cup of tea, but I was so happily surprised to find out how entertaining and funny they make it. The MC, Lulu, makes the show engaging and entertaining for the audience by calling out or dancing with the guests. They even recognize people celebrating special events during the show!

The first time I came here the show was still new, and I came back about 4 months later to see how they've added some more acts to the show. It was nice to see the added male acts. :)

I haven't tried the food here, but I have enjoyed a few of their cocktails. They have some signature drinks they offer and you can order throughout the performance as waiters come to the tables.

I'd recommend making a reservation online ahead of time; you can request to be in a certain area of the room when you make it as well (even though the space isn't that big, most seats have a good view of the stage). I did like that when making a reservation each person in your party can pay separately and just indicate whose name the reservation is under so you can all be seated together.

This is a great place to celebrate something with a group or just come out for a date night!

Very fun spot for a night out of entertainment. This was my first burlesque show and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The dancers are talented, the drinks are good, and the place is nicely decorated to give the modern speakeasy with a twist (their motto).

I am glad Yelp hosted the Elite event here otherwise I might still have my burlesque cherry!

All I have to say is fried duck wings! I have to try wings everywhere I go, and these rank up as the top 5 of all time. We went in here simply for an appetizer before a hockey game last time I visited Saint Louis. The ambiance is super cool. I have not seen a show there; however, I can imagine it has to be a blast in that atmosphere. The menu is creative, and everything looks delicious.

We decided on the Boom Boom Room for a new way to spend New Year's Eve and are so glad we did! The venue is very cool and decorated with red curtains, sparkling light fixtures, and a beautiful bar. The menu was a four-course tasting meal and open bar--a bargain for an evening of entertainment. Excellent food served in portion sizes that were reasonable. All of the servers were attentive, whether assigned to your table or not.

This was our first burlesque experience, and it could not have possibly been more fun! The hostess was saucy, clever, and had a great singing voice. The female dancers were pretty and flirty and wore beautiful costumes. The two male performers had a couple great dance numbers and a fire-dancing act. Everyone in the show seemed to genuinely be having a good time so that the audience had fun.

Can't wait to go back!

Amazing venue, food, service, people – anything you can think of! I used a Groupon for the meal, and it was totally worth it! The must-try dishes are the duck breast and the beef flank. The duck breasts come w/ sweet potato fries and the beef flanks come w/ mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Both were very, very good. We didn't stay long enough the catch the shows, but hopefully next time!

Gorgeous venue, the owners are wonderful... great, fun place and good for downtown!

Great atmosphere, love the energy and the show. Lovely fun Madame.

What a great way to spend a Saturday night. It was so much fun! Great food although very small portions. The ambience in the room was so quaint. Even has a smoke machine; the show was very entertaining. I suggest everyone go at least one time!

We went to BBR for New Year's Eve 2015-2016, and it was spectacular! It's a smaller space but very classy, speakeasy style with a nice bar and center stage surrounded by tables. You have a good view from anywhere but the best front and center is directly opposite the bar, regardless of top tier seating right along the stage or the row behind. You don't want to wear jeans here; it's more elegant than that, so dress to impress, as they say! There was a whole range of ages at the show, too, so don't worry about the crowd being too young or too old. Everyone has fun!

The wait staff was really nice and absolutely on point the whole night, and the food is incredible! Our NYE meal was four-course smaller plates and every dish was just perfect! I can't rave enough about the food!! The Madame is funny and keeps you smiling while the dancers change between numbers, and everything was very classy burlesque. Three main dancers were all lovely ladies. One gentleman who did a solo or two, fun and classy, not stripper risqué, and another guy did a non-burlesque fire spinning number that was exciting! We loved the occasional use of music from Moulin Rouge and Chicago.

Also important, there are two parking lots directly across the street from the door. We entered the north lot from Wash. Ave., and it's a credit card toll ticket box, pay when you leave, $2 per hour max $8, so very reasonable. Limited street parking since you're practically on Wash. Ave., and it gets busy down there.

We HIGHLY recommend BBR for a romantic date night dinner and a show! Or just fun with your friends who might have a wild side like ours. :)

Awesome new bar/restaurant/nightclub near Wash. Ave. The bartenders are so nice and friendly! The burlesque show is great. AND the food (although limited menu) is OUTSTANDING. I definitely recommend everyone come check this place out!

Britt N., 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very entertaining and good food! The girls were great, and everyone that works there is very friendly.

What Wash. Ave. has been missing! Given St. Louis's French ties, burlesque is definitely an appropriate fit on this street corner. The dancers and hostess are energetic, and the food is great and the drinks are strong. Looking for a great time? Come to the Boom Boom Room!

Ronn W., 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

So much fun! Different, entertaining, plus surprisingly good food and drink. Show is bright, fun, and sexy. Wait staff outstandingly friendly. After party dancing is fun, too. We will be back and recommend to friends.

The Boom Boom Room was fantastic. The atmosphere and music were amazing. Dinner was great; one small criticism is it could be plated warmer, but the taste was very good. The sweet and sassy Lulu LaToosh was so talented and funny, getting all the audience involved in the show. The performances were great; I couldn't keep my eyes off them. I would definitely come again and recommend to others.

This venue is amazing. Ms. Coochie Capone was so friendly! Food is also amazing! This is a must-try!

Jinu P., 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We went on a Saturday (so no living social or Groupon for us). The venue is lovely, period, without being gimmicky or run down. It's just enough to be charming. They even pipe something that makes the room look smoky without actually being smoky. I'm allergic and it didn't bother me. Tables are cabaret style with a stage in the middle.

The cocktails are good, but pretty pricey in the $9-$11 range. The Valentina was the best of the drinks I tried. They are strong though, so be wary. We arrived a little early. For the Saturday show, they keep the audience small so you don't feel packed in, and it was pretty cordial as far as the atmosphere was concerned.

We then got our meal. The plates were pretty sparse, so don't come expecting a full meal for your $30 a head. You pay $20 for the show, then $30 per person for the meal. It's not a great value, as the portions are wicked small. That said, we didn't feel ripped off; it was just less than what we were expecting for the price.

Service was a level above your average dinner theater. The servers were hustling hard but still very, very friendly. Even the cast, who came out to mingle after the show, was kind and welcoming. I HOPE it's because they enjoy what they do and the business treats them well. They project an air that they like working where they do!

The show started about an hour later than the ticket said, which made us a little late getting to our kiddo from the sitter; the show really didn't get started until 9 p.m. However, we were not too upset because the show was SPECTACULAR! Just the perfect amount of sass. It was exactly as burlesque should be. You enjoy yourself without being embarrassed being in a room full of people. The audience was pretty polite and cool, too, even with lots of drinking, which honestly is a function of the emcee and the venue. The dancers are professionals with great poise, stage presence, and skill. There is a good balance of dancing, comedy from the show's emcee (who is just the right level of tart), and others. I would tell " Monsieur Music" to lower the base a bit for the size of the venue, but that's a nitpick. It's a good two-hour show, so you feel you get your bang for your buck. Also, another kudos, it was my birthday. The emcee acknowledged my birthday, was nice but didn't drag me on stage for embarrassment.

I would highly recommend for a special occasion, but it's pretty pricey for a date night. We'd go back!

Wow, what a good time. I've never been to a place like this with a burlesque show, and it was very entertaining. I took my wife there. We bought tickets ahead of time ($20 per person), which just assures that you have a table reserved for the show in case it gets sold out. We went on Friday night, so the food was ordered from the menu as a typical restaurant. Holy cow, the food was amazing! I was so impressed. We had the poutine burger, the duck confit, the flatbread, and the doughnut dessert. Every single thing was awesome! Do not come just for the show; you have to eat here, too. We are definitely going back and going to bring more friends to show them the food and fun entertainment.

Happened upon this place by accident not knowing what to expect and was a little taken aback at the $20 cover, but as soon as the velvet curtain was pulled back, it became clear we were in for a treat. Unique (not a word you can use often in the STL bar scene) atmosphere and entertainment facilitated by talented performers and friendly staff. So much fun! Drinks were good and not watered down. My only recommendation would be to spring for a professional DJ to transform the place into a real dance venue.

Kitty F., 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Can't-miss spot!! Fantastic atmosphere and service and a very classy place. Everyone was so nice and accommodating, drink prices were relatively reasonable, and the show was perfect. A wonderful time, drank waaaaaaaay too much, and everyone was so nice. After the show ends, the dancers come out and actually socialize with the crowd, which was a surprise! The owner was circulating and even was in some of the dance numbers. It was an amazing time and the best time I had in all of STL.

Rachel B., 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was a lot of fun. The dancers were amazing. Cocktails were perfect. It was a great experience all around. The only drawback was the food. It was maybe a B-, while everything else was an A+. We'll definitely be back.

Blake M., 4 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a super fun evening, especially with groups. The performance quality far surpassed what you paid for the evening, plus you get a four-course meal. Make a reservation for sure. The food is very flavorful although perhaps lacking the portion size that you might anticipate for a "four-course meal." Free shots happen; just take them. They will advise you to get there around 7, but just know they don't really start serving food until after 8 with the show to follow. FOOD FIRST THEN SHOW - helpful to just know that. Order drinks, and have a good time - the wait staff will be walking around very frequently, making sure you are lubricated (if you're intention is to whet your whistle). You will have a great time, and the performance quality is phenomenal for a small venue - special effects, lights, dancing, props, singing, the whole 9 yards. We (group of 6 for a Saturday night show) had an unexpectedly awesome night!

We went here for New Year's Eve with a large group, and everyone had a wonderful time! Lindsey, our hostess, was extremely attentive and friendly. The show was entertaining, the food was AMAZING for a New Year's all-inclusive deal, and the drinks were not weak. We also liked the ambiance for a smaller venue. Overall, we would definitely like to return here and hope that more people will discover this gem!
